IITM Summer Fellowship Programme

The IITM-Summer Fellowship Programme of two months duration with fixed stipend of Rs.6, 500/- is designed to enhance awareness and interest in high quality academic research among young Engineering, Management, Sciences and Humanities students through a goal oriented summer mini-project to be undertaken in different departments of this Institute.

Following Fellowships are available initially for a period of two years (extendable as per rules) at a monthly stipend shown against each HRA and Medical facilities (for self only) shall also be admissible, as per rules.

Applications are invited from candidates possessing the above qualifications. The upper age limit is as on the last date for receipt of application. (5 years relaxation to SC/ST candidates, 3 years to OBC candidates, and other entitled categories as per rules) Actual No. of vacancies may vary.
