Fellowship for 2007 – 2008

Indian Council of Philosophical Research invites applications for the award of Senior Fellowships, General Fellowships, Junior Research Fellowships, Short-Duration Project and Residential Fellowships from eligible scholars for the year 2007 – 2008.

Details of the Fellowships and the application form can be obtained by sending a demand draft for Rs.25/- (Rupees twenty five only) in favour of ICPR payable at New Delhi along with a self addressed stamped envelope for Rs.15/- to the Director (Academic) or by cash payment

J N Tata Endowment Loan Scholarship

Applications are invited for the J N Tata Endowment Loan Scholarship for the academic year 2007-2008.

Scholarships will be granted for higher studies abroad in all disciplines and subjects.
Selected scholars may also qualify for gift awards.

Eligibility
You must be an Indian national.

You must be a graduate from a recognised Indian university with a consistently good academic record.

You could be final year student awaiting your results.
Other mid-career professionals planning to go abroad for further research, specialisation or training may also apply.

Note: At the time of submitting the completed applications, candidates need not have the admission/ offer letters from the universities to which they have applied for the academic year 2007-2008.

Invites applications for the Scottish International Scholarship Programme
Details

Six scholarships will be offered to students from India during the academic year 2007-2008 under the Scottish International Scholarship Programme managed by the British Council.

The scholarships are available for taught master's courses in science, technology and the creative industries at any Scottish Higher Education Institute.

This is an internationally recognised qualification which can give candidates a chance to network with Scottish companies.

Students have the opportunity to live and work in Scotland two years after their study.
The scholarship covers the tuition fees, return economy airfare and a living allowance.
